Prof. Gwarzo congratulates Dr. Aliyu on his reapportionment as member NITDA Governing Board 

The President of Maryam Abacha American University of Niger (MAAUN), Prof. Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo has congratulated Dr. Muhammad Sirajo Aliyu, on his reapportionment as member

Governing Board of the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA).

The congratulatory message was contained in a statement personally signed by Prof. Abubakar Gwarzo and issued to newsmen in Kano on Monday.

He said the reappointment of Dr. Sirajo Aliyu as member of Governing Board of NITDA by President Muhammadu Buhari was in order in view of his immense contributions to the education sector in the country.

Prof. Gwarzo, who is the Chairman Governing Council of MAAUN, Kano, described Dr. Sirajo Aliyu as a committed and hardworking academic, adding that his reapportionment would go a long way in moving the agency to the highest level.

According to him, Dr. Sirajo Aliyu would also ensure that the objectives of NITDA are fully achieved by using his wealth of experience to promote professional IT skills especially to undergraduates so that they could be equipped with industry oriented quality education and training.

“On behalf of the management of MAAUN, I wish to felicitate with you on your reappointment as member Governing Board of NITDA and wish you a successful tenure.

He prayed to Almighty Allah to guide and give the NITDA Governing Board member the strength and wisdom to contribute his quota towards taking the agency to greater heights.

Dr. Muhammad Sirajo Aliyu is in the Department of Computer Science, Faculty of Computing, Federal University of Dutse, Jigawa State.
